How is Google Doing?

I've been keeping an eye on Google lately and on Thursday shares rose over 2%
due to a positive earnings report issued by the internet giant.
They beat the street in the first quarter with a 6% increase from the first quarter of last year.

This is great news, maybe the economy will turn around sooner than later.
